Hi I'm June

I live in Idaho. I'm a mom and a grandmother. I had a forty year banking career. I am a Red Hatter. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two children and a grandmother to one grandson. I like to do a lot of things in the way of hobbies. I enjoy a good book, meeting new people, family history and out door activities. Now that I am retired I have time to travel and experience first hand the sites and places I have read about. I enjoy my new found freedom and plan to go and do as long as my health allows me to do so. My husband and I have spent three summers in Alaska touring this amazing beautiful state. It is our favorite summer destination.

Why I am a Mormon

I spent many years searching for contentment and peace. I found what I was looking for in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. The Church provided an understanding of why I am here on earth and the purpose for being here. It offers peace and hope.

How I live my faith

I try everyday to follow the Savior Jesus Christ's example by living the commandments. I make a conscious effort to include service in my activities. One of my favorite scriptures states "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom and ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God". I have been given so much and I want to share. I am privileged along with my husband to be the Preparedness Leaders for the local unit of my church. This calling has opened many doors for us. We have the honor to work with a wide variety of people who are working hard to be self sufficient.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I am excited to say that we are nondenominational when it come to helping others. If there is a need we want to be there to do our part. and help improve lives.  Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith is a "hope for things which are not seen, which are true". It is a principle of power that motivates our day-to-day-activities. A farmer plants a crop with the expectation of a harvest. Each day we act upon things we hope for when we cannot see the end results. This is faith.  Show more Show less
