Hi I'm Andrew

I'm anything but ordinary. I'm extraordinary. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a college freshman. I'm not sure what I want to do when I grow up. I play sports as often as I can. I play almost every kind of sport. I didn't play in high school due to injuries, sicknesses, and work. I've worked at movie theaters, diners, and restaurants. In my free time I enjoy spending it with friends and family. I may sound like your average guy, but I'm far from it. I've had many experiences in my life that have blessed me. They've helped me grow into something amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for a couple of reasons. The first one is that I was born a Mormon. I have great parents who raised me in the church. The second one is because I KNOW this church is true. I've had events transpire in my life that have reaffirmed this knowledge. The last reason is that being a Mormon brings me great happiness. This gospel is all about being happy, and I like to be happy. I enjoy sharing this happiness through my words, actions, and especially my example.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I'm currently serving my two-year mission in Saint Louis, Missouri. I'm loving it here! I love to serve the great people here, and I love to teach them all I know. I also live my faith by living my values during the entire week, not just on Sunday. I strive to help all I can in the community, and to always be an example.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is someone's personal knowledge of truth. A testimony is something that is worked on and refined every day. A person's testimony grows as they grow. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Mormons believe in the Bible as far it has been translated correctly. What that means is that we regard it as scripture. The Bible, however, has been translated multiple times throughout the years. In those years some information was lost and changed. But we still use it and believe in it. We use the Bible everyday. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

We believe that this life is our chance to return to live with our Father in Heaven. We are here on this Earth to be tested and tried. We are also here to experience great happiness and joy. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

We most definitely are Christians. First off, our Church bears the name of Jesus Christ. We always try to follow his example, just like any Christian should do. We accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and as the Son of God. He is the center of all the things we do. Show more Show less
