Hi I'm Kiley

and yes, I AM a Mormon!

About Me

I'm currently a college student. Family Studies Major with a Cello Performance Minor. I love classical music, scrap booking, animals, laughing and loving. A new hobby that I am picking up is photography. I recently got married to my best friend in the temple and am loving it! He loves me, has so much patience for my imperfections and is helping me learn and fulfill my role as a young wife. It's not easy, but it is beyond worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church all my life, so many of the teachings have been instilled in me since I was young. However, I could only go so far before I had to gain my own testimony of its truth. There is no pivotal moment that I can pinpoint to where I first knew it was true, but like a sunrise, it started small, and eventually filled my entire sky and soul. I know God's true church has been established once again here on earth. It has been manifested to me so many times in so many different ways. I've lived many of the principles of this gospel, and I am happiest when I do so.

How I live my faith

I take classes at the local LDS institute. The teachers are so inspiring, and it's nice to take a break from the stresses of school and the world. In my ward I have been called to be a counselor in our primary, the program for children. It has been a growing experience for me. At a personal level, I do my best to radiate the light of Christ within me by my actions and example. I know at times I can do better, but that is the beauty of the atonement: giving us the opportunity each and every day to improve ourselves and be the best we can, even when we do make mistakes.
