Hi I'm Frankie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn everything about everything! The first thing all do is start asking questions and then i ask some more. I love to tell people what i learned! I'm a son, an uncle, a cook, a Brother, a hard worker and a bit of a show off. lol I love to do everything!

Why I am a Mormon

I know its true. I have prayed about it. The Book of Mormon Is the word of God and another testament of Jesus Christ. it has given me an Eternal perspective and hope for myself and my family. Thoughs restrictions our loving Havenly Father has given us are not really restrictions at all. They help us to be happy and free from risks and unfufilling Influences. Most of all the way I feel about myself has changed. I don't think about bad thngs in the past because I know who and what I am and what is exspexcted of me from my family, friends and most importantly my Loving Hevanly Father who knows me and what I want, and wants to help me be happy and sucsessfull in this life and prepaire me to come and live with him again. (with my family forever). I would say thats a awesome thing to look forword to.

How I live my faith

I am 26 years old and I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. and I am serving as a full time missionary for the next two years helping everyone I can come to the knowlege that the church of Jesus christ of latter-day saints is gods church once again restored on the earth today with a living prophet of god. I apply the princaples of the the gospel In my life and the perspective the church gives me changes my views on life and what I should be doing with my life. I try to do the things jesus christ tought and be an example to everyone around me. most of all I think i just fallow the golden rule.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

The difference between atending chuurch and the temple is that in the church we learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also, (and this is the main reson we meet on sundays, The Sabeth) Is to renue covanants ( or promisses) with our Havenly Father that we make when being baptised by taking the sacrament. also It's to meet together oft as the Savior comanded us in the New Testiment. At the temple we take part in and perform ordanances reQuired for salvation. We perform ordanances for ourselfs and the dead that have not had the oportunaty to do it for themselfs (BY Poxy) The savior said that except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kindom of god. What about the people who have not heard about his gospel? Thats why we go to the temple. we perform ordanances for and in behalf of thoughs who have not had the oportunaty to do it for themselves. The tample is also the house of the Lord and we go there when we want to recieve answres to prayers and gudence in our lives during chalenges in life and hard times. Most importantly it is a place to feel the spirit and to come closser to out Havenly Father. Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

It all starts with making sure that it's true. The missionary's will start the process by teaching you 4 or 5 lessons that will help you understand the basic doctrine of the Gospel. (Teachings of Jesus Christ). They will invite you to read the Book of Mormon and Perhaps most importantly, Pray for an answer from God about it's truthfulness. The missionary's will even tell you how you can recognize the answer. they will also invite you to start living as if you were already a member of the church by attending church with them on Sunday and keeping the commandments (rules given by God to help us be happy and avoid the effects of sin and possibly harmful cons.) how else will you really know if this church will really make us truly happy without living it. It may sound rushed, but the Missionary's will most likely even set a date for you to try and be baptized on. DO NOT FEEL LIKE THEY ARE RUSHING YOU!!! It's just so you have something to shoot for, and it's so they can help you to be ready on that date IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN ANSWER FROM GOD, and not until. and they will simply help answer any other questions or resolve any concerns you may have. And in all honesty you can ask them ANY question you want. they might not have all the answers but they will try and help you understand however they can. They will not try and convince you. They let the Lord do that. Show more Show less
