Hi I'm Hilary

I’m a wife. I’m a mother. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel, do research and have hands on experiences. I like building with power tools, reading and taking pictures. I am a mother of 2 girls and wife to a thoughtful man.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was nine the missionaries began teaching my parents. They would come over at night when I was supposed to be in bed and I would sit in the hall and listen to them. As I listened I got more and more excited. I felt that what the missionaries shared with my family was true and I wanted to be a part of it. As I’ve grown and developed and learned more about the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I’ve come to know that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and loves me, that Jesus Christ suffered for me personally and knows how I’m feeling and is there to support and comfort me. I’ve learned that God sends His Holy Spirit to lead and guide me. I’ve discovered that happiness comes from keeping the commandments and building strong familial relationships that can last into eternity. This knowledge gives me strength to overcome obstacles in my life and makes me a happier person.

How I live my faith

I try each day to live as the Savior would. I look for opportunities to serve and help my neighbors and friends. I teach my children to be honest, kind, contributors to society. At church I help organize activities for the women. These activities develop not only the spiritual, but also strive to teach the woman skills that will help them be better wives, mothers, and people in general.
