Hi I'm Jason Peterson

I'm from California, I'm awesome, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I always liked to be able to make things. Sometimes I'll just spend some spare time building something elaborate out of clay. I was in high school woodshop and always enjoyed being able to create things that I could take home and use. It's just something I've always loved to do. I always liked to be able to be with my friends. I would not be the way I am today without them. I am so grateful for them. Sure, we spend time playing video games like everybody else our age, but we also like to go to the park and play games as well. Most people that know me will probably be surprised by this, but I prefer to do something fun outside, than to be stuck indoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been raised in the Mormon church all my life. People always ask me this question and that's the general response they get. Then they assume that I am only part of it because it's what is "familiar" to me. Not completely true. Though this is very familiar to me, and I am grateful for that, there always comes a time in your life where you have to question it and find out if it's really true, and not just go along with it just because its what your family is a part of. That's what I did, and i love it! I know these things are true and they have blessed me so much!

How I live my faith

I guess the major way I am currently living my faith is that I am currently servign a full-time mission for the church in Kentucky. It has been such a faith and testimony building experience to be able to meet so many new people and share these things with them. Not everybody is as warm and receptive as I'd have hoped, but the oppurtunity to be able to get ourselves out there in the community has been one of the best experiences of my life! I will never regret my decision to go and serve!
