Hi I'm Kyle

I'm an actor, I'm a lurp, I'm an American who likes hockey, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest in a family of five. I live in Utah, and I don't snowboard or ski. Crazy, I know. Boating, road trips, and going to the sand dunes are definitely favorite pastimes of my family. Goofing off with friends is something I love doing. I have just recently become a hockey fan, who would have thought that would happen? I enjoy anything that involves a large amount of laughter. I love to act and participate in anything that allows me to make people laugh. I have had a very good life that has been filled with great memories and great lessons that have been learned, and more that just keep on coming.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the faith. My family set a very good example for me and I saw the happiness that it brought them. I am a Mormon because now I know the happiness that this Gospel brings. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God because I have prayed and asked God if it is His word and I have received the answer that it is. This is Christ's true Church and it has been restored on this earth. The same Church that was in existence when Christ was on this earth.  I am a Mormon because I know that it is through this Gospel that I am able to live with my family forever if I do those things that God has asked. I know that God has blessed me with a wonderful family and I don't want that to go away after I die. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving for two years in Vancouver Canada as a volunteer full-time missionary for the Church. I teach those that are interested in hearing about this Gospel and I help those that are in need of service. I try and live the life that God wants me to live. I strive to be more like Him in my everyday life. I try to be an example of the believers to those around me.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No it is not required to serve a mission in the church. It is encouraged, but you are never forced to serve a mission. It is encouraged because it is God's most important work that is to be done here on this earth. It is a choice that is completely personal whether you want to serve a mission or not.
