Hi I'm Colby

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a wonderful family that raised me with a clear definition of wrong and right. I'm not perfect, and no one expects me to be, but I was always simply asked to do my best. I have been fortunate to find a much more perfect wife who is a great example to me daily. We have been blessed with a daughter who is the joy of our lives. I graduated with a degree in Accounting and have always enjoyed numbers and finance. I'm an avid sports fan and love being outdoors and active. I have two hobbies my wife and my daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

To be perfectly honest, I am a Mormon because my parents are. Although I grew up attending church based solely on their beliefs, it did not take me too long to establish my own testimony. I am eternally grateful to my mom and dad for introducing me to the church as a child. I served a two-year mission to South Korea where I solidified my love for Jesus Christ and other people. There is now no doubt in my mind that Jesus is the Christ and that he loves each and every one of us. However, being a Mormon is so much more than simply a belief in Christ, it's a way of life. Being a Mormon can be like an insurance policy against drugs, immorality, infidelity, and many other evils that plague our society today. I love being Mormon, I love who it has made me become and what it will hopefully do for my posterity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith not by my words, but by my actions. A true follower of Jesus Christ follows him inside and out. As stated in the "about me" section, I'm no where close to perfect. I try every day to do my very best to be an example for good in this world. Some days are better than others, but really strive to recognize and correct my mistakes.
