Hi I'm Stan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Dad, a Grandpa, and a Great Grandpa. By profession I am a Pharmacist. I have been a musician most of my life, at times professionally. I am retired from the military after 36 years in the National Guard and Army Reserve. My wife and I have been married for 51 years and we both are cancer survivors.

Why I am a Mormon

My wife and I joined the LDS Mormon Church in 1965 when we were beginning to realize that we were not giving our children any spiritual foundation. A good neighbor family invited us to come to their house and watch a movie about the Mormon Church. We were quite impressed and invited the missionaries to teach us. Joining the church changed our lives completely and has helped us through many, many hardships. I believe that Jesus Christ , our elder brother, suffered and died that we can have immortality and the chance to earn Eternal Life. I believe that he was resurrected and now lives, that he is our Savior, and that he loves us with an infinite and atoning love.

How I live my faith

I try to keep the covenants I made upon baptism to worship God, the Father, and his Son, Jesus Christ. I believe that the family is the most important thing in our lives here on Earth and that we will be able to be united again, as a family, after the resurrection if we listen to and obey the teachings of our Savior. My wife and I have been to the Lord's Temple to be sealed together with our children to this end.

In whom should we have faith?

Stan
We should have faith in God, the Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, who gave his life that we have the opportunity to return into their presence. Show more Show less
