Hi I'm Elijah

I'm an entrepreneur, an attorney, and operations manager of a commodities trading firm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Deep South, but have lived on the West Coast, in Spain, and in Washington, D.C. My lovely wife and I are blessed with four wonderful children. I enjoy motorcycles, and have been riding since age six.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a deep and enduring testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Matters of faith can't be proven empirically, but my professional training has taught me to think critically about my beliefs. When coupled with the grounding power of faith, I believe that reason can be helpful in our search for truth. The knowledge that our Heavenly Father has restored priesthood authority lost after the death of our Savior and His apostles gives me great peace. The restoration of this authority and the ordinances that are performed through it bring a light to my life that answers tough questions and helps me make sense of the unknown.

How I live my faith

I'm called to lead a group of men within my local congregation, and I work one evening each week in one of the Lord's temples. These are weighty responsibilities, but I really enjoy the interaction with my gospel brethren and sisters. That said, my most important stewardship lies with my wife and children. My sweetheart and I were married for time and all eternity in the temple, and together with our daughter and three sons, we're working hard to create an eternal family.
