Hi I'm Christopher

I'm an outdoors man, I'm from California, I play the harmonica, I'm a 'rubber band sharp-shooter', I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 20 years old. I was born and raised in California. In high school I was on the water polo and swimming team. I love being in and around water. I'm currently living in New England, serving a full time mission. One of my favorite sayings is, "There's no growing in a comfort zone and there's no comfort in a growing zone" and the past couple years has been anything but comfortable. I've never considered myself a "peoples person" but I'm loving the chance I have to talk to TONS of people everyday. I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

Why I am a Mormon

When I started high school I wondered that question. I didn't know why I was Mormon. I knew my parents had testimonies and my older brother had a testimony but i didn't see the big deal. I struggled through high school, trying to make those around me happy but at the same time trying to be my own person. Then I realized I, myself, was truly unhappy and was angry because of it. One night I hit what seemed to be rock bottom and found myself in A LOT of trouble. I had no idea what I should do. Then I remembered all I was taught as a child. I fix things that were wrong in my life and stopped worrying about being my own person but rather becoming the person God wanted me to be. In the process I came to a knowledge that Jesus is the Christ and God is my loving Heavenly Father. My testimony became very real! I still struggle but at the end of the day, I know who I am and what I want to become...

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving a full-time mission in New England. As a missionary and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it is my(our) responsibility to "stand as witnesses of Christ," to say and do what He, Himself, would say and do. To be a living, modern witness in word and in deed of His great and marvelous latter day work
