Hi I'm Caran

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi - I am a wife and mother of 4 fantastic children! My two oldest recently returned from serving church missions in Antofagasta, Chile and Warsaw, Poland. My husband served his mission in Santiago, Chile so that was a blessing to our family when our oldest daughter was able to serve in the same country as her father! I am currently involved serving with the young women in our church. I feel such strength from the youth and the tough decisions that they are making daily in their lives. I love and appreciate their convictions to stay strong, have faith, and center their lives around our Savior. I am so appreciative of the constant guidance and peace that I feel when I am living my life in accordance with the gospel principles and feel my Savior's love each day in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught and raised in a family that loved each other, had family home evenings every week together, was taught the strong ethic of work, had scripture study, attended and taught early morning seminary, served our neighbors and were taught to live a clean and moral life. This gave me a very strong foundation. I have raised my own family in the mormon religion and have received so many blessings in my life. My children have also stayed true to the values of our religion and have been guided and blessed in their own lives. I am so grateful for the testimony I have, for a wonderful prophet, President Monson who is a prophet on the earth today, and for my Savior, Jesus Christ and his exemplary life and for a loving Heavenly Father who listens and answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

Each day is centered around living a Christ-centered life. I am always looking for ways to serve others around me. I love working with the youth in our church, seeing them on Sundays and during the week is so fun. They are full of life and I love associating with them. I also have the opportunity to visit other women in our church during the month. We go to lunch, take kids and play at the park, or visit in their homes. Is wonderful to have this chance to have gospel-centered conversations or just talk about being women and the great influence we have on the people around us. I also love music and have the chance to play the organ each Sunday, and often accompany others who sing. Music touches so many hearts and when I play the church hymns, I feel closer to my Savior.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?
