Hi I'm Jaden

I'm a Mormon. I'm a sports nut.

About Me

I'm a young college student studying business management with a minor in sports management. I love sports, and that is why I want to continue to be surrounded by them and hopefully I'll be able to work for a sports team or college! As I said, I love sports! I love playing them, watching them, and even working for the players and coaches. It simply is just an easy way to do something that I love to do. Also, not being blessed with the most athleticism I was able to work along side with a lot of great people, and I was able to serve them. I also love being with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I choose to! I occassionaly am asked, "so were you born in the church?" Sometimes being witty I say I was born in a hospital, but yes, I was born in the church. My parents gave me the choice to go to church, to live the commandments, and the choice for everything. It really took me until I was 14 years old to realize if I wanted to continue to stay in the church or not. I remember my family was on vacation in New York looking at all of the church sites, and I remember thinking to myself, "this is dumb, why are we looking at these houses. The story of Joseph Smith seems so farfetched." I remember thinking that, and the next day when we were visiting the Joseph Smith home, we were with a missionary who was taking us on the tour. It seemed a little weird because we sat in the home for longer than normal, and I feel that the missionary was inspired to say what she said. I remember her bearing testimony of Joseph Smith, and all that he did. I remember that it just really hit me, and I knew that this church was true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet.

How I live my faith

Everyday life! This church helps me make all my decisions. Well, not if I should eat cereal or waffles for breakfast, but important decisions. I try to live my life the way that the Savior and our Heavenly Father would want me to live it. I see that I control my own life and that God gave us free agency so that we could live our lives how we want to live it.
