Hi I'm Gary

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Gary, I grew up in Bradford in the United Kingdom. Four years ago I moved with my family to BC, Canada. I am 37 years old and am a husband and father of three amazing children. I love the outdoors and living in BC makes so many great opportunities available to me. When I'm not working I spend my time fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, canoeing and mountain biking. And when I'm not playing in the great outdoors with my family I enjoy reading and working with wood. I'm not a skilled craftsman by any stretch of the imagination but its fun and it keeps me away from the TV.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that the best way to be happy is to live the things I believe to be true. Through personal experience I have found that I'm not happy when I live in a way thats not in harmony with my beliefs. I'm a Mormon because it brings happiness to my life. Being a Mormon has instilled in me a belief that I can change, that I can improve and that I can do more and be more than I am now. I'm a Mormon because it makes me a better person.

How I live my faith

We attend church services each Sunday as a family. We read scriptures together each night before bed. We have family prayer. Doing these things help us live our faith the way we believe God wants us to. And on a personal level I live my faith by striving to change those things about myself that aren't the way God wants me to be.
