Hi I'm Bill

I grew up in Buffalo, Minnesota. I'm an entrepreneur and father of seven chidren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father of seven, mortgage originator, entrepreneur and songwriter. I love spending time with my family whether at home, at the childrens' activities, or on an occasional road trip. I enjoy running, mountain biking, hiking, and fishing. Because of my rural upbringing, agriculture also interests me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it both feels right to my soul and makes sense to my mind. Being a Mormon gives my life full purpose and ever-increasing hope in a better future with my family that will extend past the grave.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches me how to live my faith as I interact with others in my community. I've particularly benefited from reaching out to my neighbors in friendship. Because of those efforts, my wife and I were able to help a neighbor who lived alone as he suffered through his last year of life in a battle with cancer. He trusted us to help him when he needed it most and we all benefited as a result. It was an experience we'll always cherish.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Bill
I love the Bible. I read it often - both the Old and New Testaments. I owe a great debt of gratitude to the many who gave their lives to translate and reproduce the Bible throught the centuries and I'm grateful to them for their sacrifices. Because it was largely written by prophets, the Bible strengthens my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior. It's definitely a gift from God to help us, his children, understand his plan of happiness for us. Show more Show less
