Hi I'm Taylor J. Burgon

I love Traveling, Flying, My family, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 20 years old and i love to travel. I love all kinds of music and i am a big Movie buff. My hobbies are history and aviation. I am studying to become a pilot. It has been one of my top goals to do. I love hanging out with friends and just having a fun.

Why I am a Mormon

How i came to know that the church is true is by asking my father in heaven. when i was was younger and was baptized i didn't really understand what everything ment. as i grew older i started to study alot i went to church and i went to seminary. as i was learning i did not know what to do. but at church we went over the restoration of the gospel. we were talking about Joseph Smith and what he had experienced. As the lesson went on i thought about doing what Joseph Smith did and ask god. so i went home and knelt in prayer that i may know if this is true. As i ended my prayer and sat in silence I had a feeling of peace and joy come in. At that moment i just knew that it was right. It is something that i really wanted to know. So i acted on it. i know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and that the Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible, and together it contains the gospel in its fulness. I am greatful to be apart of a church where I feel at home. I love the fact that that we can be happy in our daily lives.

How I live my faith

One thing that i enjoy doing that helps other is doing any service that they need help with. I love the scouting program and am helping some get to their Eagle scout award. I love teaching people about Christ and what he did for us. Getting to know new people is very fun and doing that service to start that friendship going. The more you do the more opertunities come. Back when i was on a mission, our mission motto was "Do the Hard Thing" so i took that personally and am trying to help out anybody i can.
