Hi I'm Nancy

I'm a mom and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom and a wife. My husband and I have four children-3 girls and 1 boy. Our two youngest children have a neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2. I am by no means a master of any particular skill, but enjoy learning a variety of things that I can incorporate into my role as a homemaker. I also love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I saw the happiness that filled my parents lives as they served and were active members. As I participated in gospel discussions, lessons at church, read my scriptures and prayed to our Heavenly Father, I too felt happiness-I felt peace and gained my own testimony that the things I was learning were true.

How I live my faith

I go to church each Sunday and partake of the Sacrament. I help teach gospel lessons and discussions with those that have recently joined the church or who are learning more about the gospel. Each Monday night we have Family Home Evening with our children where we have a short lesson, read the scriptures, sing, pray, and have an activity together.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that families are important to our Heavenly Father. We believe that we have a responsibility to help one another. We believe that we should work, play, and learn together. We believe that families can be together forever. Show more Show less
