Hi I'm Zach Johnston

I'm a farmboy, I'm a music junkie, I love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised doing chores in the outdoors. Whether it was pulling in fish nets, seting up electric fences, digging irrigation and dranage ditches for raspberries, or chasing cows around the field, I was always doing work outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I love knowing that me and my family can live together forever, and continue to learn and grow even after this life. Every time that I remember God's Plan for us, I remember why I need to keep on doing what the Lord wants me to. I've really come to know about this plan by reading from the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and by praying to God for truth and guidance.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm serving a mission. It's great to be able to study the Bible and Book of Mormon every morning, and then go out and share with people the same things that I learn. In addition to this, I grew up going to church, the youth activities, and seminary, all of which have helped me to become a better person. I'm nowhere near perfect, but I'm working on it.

Are Mormons Christians?

Zach Johnston
Yes! Christ is the Centerpiece of our faith! To be more like Christ our goal! I hope one day to return to live with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ, and I know that we can only do it through Christs Atonement! Doesn't that make us Christians? Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Zach Johnston
Grace is the help that I get from god through the atonement. Without grace, I wouldn't be able to become clean. Because of grace, we are all promised some degree of "heaven". That doesn't eliminate my personal responsibility, because it is only through living the gospel that I can become who God wants me to be, and to recieve all the blessings he has for me.
