Hi I'm Linzie

I farm. I like beef. I love Jesus Christ. I'm a "Mormon".

About Me

I recently completed a full-time 19 month mission in Portland, Oregon. It was the greatest learning experience and foundation for life. I love learning about the body and received a bachelors degree in health and exercise. I enjoy personal training, weightlifting, and sports. I am an EMT and work on the family farm.

Why I am a Mormon

 # 1 - I was born into a family that took me to church every week and taught me to live the gospel. # 2- I sincerely asked God to confirm the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. Through His Holy Spirit, my heart, soul, and mind were impressed in such a way that I was given a sure knowledge the book is true which means Joseph Smith was a prophet and Christ's church has been restored to the earth. # 3 - It gives me a firm foundation which prevents being "tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine..." Eph. 4.

How I live my faith

I have found the greatest joy serving and helping other people come to understand their true purpose in life.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Linzie
God always has and always will reveal His gospel to the world through prophets and apostles. The 12 Apostles 1- Especial witnesses to all the world of Jesus Christ's divinity and bodily resurrection. 2- Maintain the standard of worthiness in the church. 3- Receive direct revelation from God to keep the doctrine pure. 4- By the laying on of hands receive the priesthood which is Gods power and authority on earth to act in His name, and govern His church on earth allowing all of His children the opportunity to return to His presence. What is faith?

Linzie
Faith is trust in what the spirit learned eons ago. Faith has a short shelf life and must be constantly nourished and exercised. This life is a grand test of faith to prove ourselves to God by keeping His commandments no matter the circumstance, illness, handicap, or trial that may come. There is no true test of faith without sacrifice for something higher than self. Show more Show less
