Hi I'm Kelsey

I grew up in Utah. I married my best friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small-town girl who married an even smaller-town guy. I am a college student who loves what she is studying and can't wait to graduate in a year! I have yet to have any children, but have a german shepard who is my baby. I love to play the piano when I can find one! I work to help support our family as my husband and I both go to school.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel brings so much joy into my life. Without it, I would be lost. I was adopted at a young age and raised in the church. I am so grateful to my parents for giving me this blessing. I know that this is the only true church. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and that they listen and answer our prayers. I know that through Christ we can live with Heavenly Father again. Through His atoning sacrifice I will be able to live with my family for eternity. The scriptures testify of Christ. They are true. I know Heavenly Fathers loves all of us, and wants what's best for us. We need to live worthy to come back to Him. I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

Right now my husband and I attend a young married college ward. We LOVE it! I am in the presidency that oversee's all the women in our ward. I also play the piano for our ward choir. With my calling I am in charge of planning and organizing activities for the women to come to once a month. Talk about trying to be creative! It's a dang good thing I've got others to help me. I am also visiting teacher. I love my girls. They bring me closer to the Savior every time I go see them. At work, I am one of the few of our faith. When I first began there it was hard. I thought I was alone. Now I see that I can bring the spirit to work with me and make those around me feel up-lifted. I have had many ask questions and some I don't know the answer to. But this has helped me study the scriptures, search past conference talks, and ask others what they think. I have learned more about the gospel than those I am trying to give answers to!
