Hi I'm JR

I live in Northern Kentucky. I found the church when I was 29. I'm very happy to say I'm a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I'm a single adult with no children. I have a love for sports, playing and watching. I enjoy bowling, softball and basketball. I love my family and friends, and enjoy doing things with them. I also have an interest in cars, which I received honest from my dad as a child.

Why I am a Mormon

I've never felt in my life that things happen chance. One day while at work I was walking down the street and was approached by the missionaries. I knew who they were before they even greeted me. I felt in my heart a strong urge to talk to speak with them and here what they had to say. They asked to visit me at a later date and it all started from there. After taking the discussions and reading the Book of Mormon I found something that had been missing in my life. As I learned of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, I developed a relationship I'd been longing for my entire life. My heart was filled, for the first time in my life, nothing was missing. I found a calmness in life that had never been present, I know my love from and for the Lord was the reason for this. Once I found this confirmation I asked to be baptized in the Church. I know this is the one and only true church on the face of Earth. It is led by our Prophet and Apostles through modern day revelation to guide us in these latter days. In the Gospel I found a part of me that was missing, and I'll never let it go as long as I live.

How I live my faith

I strive to be the best person I can be. I enjoy serving others and sharing my faith with anyone who is interested. I attend Church every Sunday since the first week I walked in the door. I'm honest with my fellow man, righteous with others and love attempting to follow in my Saviour's footsteps.
