Hi I'm Brad

I'm a student Pharmacist. I'm a father of 2. I'm an athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Virginia. My wife and I have been married for several years. We have 2 children. I am in my final year of Pharmacy School and can't wait to be done with school!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the Savior Jesus Christ and want to be his disciple. I have read the holy scriptures and know them to offer a happiness and a peace that is impossible to find anywhere else. For me, they offer an example of how a person can come unto Christ and become clean and free in His atonement. Of these scriptures, The Book of Mormon has been the book that has helped me draw closest to Christ and feel of his love. I know it to be true from spiritual confirmations given to me countless times through the Holy Spirit. It is through this knowledge of the Book of Mormon that I know that the Lord has called prophets to lead his church today on the earth. The first modern prophet was Joseph Smith and the current prophet is Thomas Monson. There is nothing that has given my life, marriage and family more direction, love, compassion and meaning than knowing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is through service. In every aspect of my life I try and serve others. At church I serve by teaching the 16-18 year old young men of my congregation. We talk about faith and how to strengthen it. We talk about the future, about careers and service to the community and each other. We go camping with our scout troop. In my community I try and be involved in good causes. I try and always be kind and respectful of others.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Brad
As mormons, we believe that the family is ordained of God. We believe that the love and connections that are possible within the family are not something that ends with this life. The relationships that we form with our spouse and children are something that God will give us to enjoy forever if we are faithful. Knowing this changes the way that I think about my family. Both my wife and I work on our relationship because we both have the same goal.... to build a relationship with each other that is worth having forever. This is the same with our children. We teach them these important things about the family so they know that we will always love them and look forward to being a family forever. Show more Show less
