Hi I'm Marilyn

I am a quilter, gardener, and love to bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoying quilting, sewing, gardening, arranging flowers, and baking. My family enjoys playing Scrabble. My husband and I have four children and seven grand children.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time when I did not feel the need to be involved in any religion. When my friend Steven shared his testimony with me I felt the Holy Ghost testify of the truthfulness of this church to me. Steve later baptized my husband Jim and myself. Since then, it has helped me through many hard times. I have made many great and wonderful friends in the church, and continue to make more friends. The Gospel helped us when rearing our childern. The church has many wonderful programs that aided them as they grew up. I can not imagine not being a member of this church, it has been an anchor all these years.

How I live my faith

In each congregation of the church two ladies are assigned to visit certain women each month. We take a spiritual message to share and check on the well being of the family to see if there is a need. During this time it creates an atmosphere of love and friendship. Participating in this activity is one of the many ways I live my faith. I have enjoyed serving the Lord this way.
