Hi I'm Curtis

I like to smile, I love to eat rice, I am the epitome of white and I am a Mormon!

About Me

Hi everyone! I'm a full time student and am still trying to figure out a major and what I eventually want to become. I served a mission to Singapore/Malaysia and loved being there and love the people I met. I enjoy playing soccer when possible and really enjoy a full night's rest especially after studying.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon and am so grateful for this Church in my life. I feel that the events that really soidified my belief in this Church were those that I experienced while serving a mission in Singapore and Malaysia. I saw people change their lives by living the gospel of Jesus Christ. They left behind the sad things in their lives and walked into a new way of life that truly does bring lasting happiness. As I witnessed these changes, the teachings of Christ and His Church became much more to me than just a lifestyle that I was born into. I saw the truths of the principles of the gospel in action as people received promised blessings for obeying Christ's teachings. I saw God fulfill His promises and I saw families transformed from sad to happy and from happy to joyful. When I realized that the gospel truly did work for all of God's children, it helped me confirm my decision to be a member of this Church.

How I live my faith

I seek to be an example of a follower of Christ by my example to others and I study His teachings daily. After my mission, I returned to a home in a different place than the home I had left. This new place offers many opportunities to talk about my beliefs with others. I keep a Book of Mormon with me that I can give away to anyone that expresses interest. I try to live my life consistent with the truths I now know to be true to provide an example of the way Christ can change and better the life of any person on earth.
