Hi I'm Izibeloko

I’m a college teacher and a mental health policy researcher. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a modern day pioneer, I’m a wife, mother and grandma, I love plants, trees rivers and love to support persons with emotional disabilities.

Why I am a Mormon

The first day I walked into the church and was taught the plan of salvation, I knew in my heart I have found something that will last for ever, the truth about God, His unconditional love and mercies towards all who draw close to Him through His only begotten Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. This knowledge brought peace to my life amid challenges of this world. I know eternity is laid before my view in a clearer perspective.

How I live my faith

I carry a grateful heart where ever I go and I’m thankful for the gospel, it gives me opportunity to be better each day. I find answers to life problems in the scriptures. I’ve seen many fruits of the gospel, fruits that nourish and strengthen my testimony and make me more charitable. The example of service from members became a turning point for me, it is through service that we can love and dwell with God. I now look beyond myself to put sunshine in other people’s life. As I fight my own life battles, I must help others to win their own battles. This is the meaning of true Christianity.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Izibeloko
Read and ponder the words of the prophets that testified of Christ in the scriptures, learn about His works and the example He shown, His love and compassion for us. The atonement Christ suffering in Gethsemane and Calvary is the center of how we can increase our love and faith in Him. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Izibeloko
Christ requested His followers to be selfless and that is why members give their time, talent and resources in the service of their fellowmen. We know that when we are in the service of our fellowmen, we are only in the service of our God.  Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Izibeloko
It is beautiful, my life has more meaning, purpose and direction because I know there is a brighter life ahead in the eternities. The question "if a man die shall he live again?" is answered for me in the church and that is a beacon of hope in Christ. Show more Show less
