Hi I'm Miranda Pearce

I'm a wife. I'm an assistant manager at Rue21. I'm a student. I am an aspiring writer. I'm a musician & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

hey! i'm miranda pearce! looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I'm getting back into school through BYUI. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or Mormon. My faith is everything to me. My first loves are reading, writing, and listening and performing music (clarinet, sax, piano, and singing). They are true art forms that help me gain clarity and help me express myself where words just can't. i've worked at mcd's for 7 years and been a manager for almost 3 of those. it's taught me how to work hard and how to treat people. Now I manage a retail store and I love it! I am married to my best friend in the world for almost 3 years! He's helped me so much to become better and have confidence. I'm reminded everyday that he's the best decision i ever made. i'm an older sister of 3 younger brothers that drive me crazy but i love them. My family is the most important thing to me. they made me who i am. and i was very lucky to marry into a family that i love. they've made me family very quickly and have taken care of me. the rest you'll have to find out yourself!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but still had to find out for myself if everything my parents taught me was true. There's been a few key moments in my life where Heavenly Father confirmed this with me but i'll just share a few. When i was 13, my cousin and her family got in a car crash. She and her son didn't survive. I had happened to be at our stake's girls camp at the time. The theme was "a princess am i", focusing on our divine heritage and the fact that we can become queens and see our Heavenly Father again someday. Never has a theme been more inspired. instead of completly breaking down at the news, i found myself running up to my room and getting straight down on my knees in humble prayer. And i got an answer. I will see Tiffany again, because she was faithful and married in the temple and if i live worthy i can see her again someday. My family is the most important thing in the world to me, even though i'm not perfect and even though i don't always act like it. I've learned more from them than they could ever learn from me. there was a reason we have the families, circumstances and opportunities that we have. If it weren't for that knowledge, I wouldn't have met my husband, Aaron either. The Lord is there. He is ever mindful of our needs and sees us so much more clearly than we can see ourselves For that i'm eternally grateful. I was recently able to go through the temple for the first time and I had some many family members there to support me. As I was led into the celestial room by Aaron to see my family, i couldn't help but cry out of joy. If this is just a porition of how it feels to be an eternal family, i'll do whatever it takes to have it. this gospel is true. nothing else on earth will bring you as much happiness.

How I live my faith

I was an Especially for Youth counselor and Young Women's President in my ward and am now the pianist in our primary! I love the youth of this church! they are so strong, whether they realize it or not. they're so much stronger than we had to be and so faithful. I also work at McDonald's to help my husband and i get through school and there's so many opportunities to just share. it's as simple as telling them that you went to church over the weekend. i wish i had known it wasn't as scarey to share what you believe and what's special to you earlier. How I live my faith is everything! It's in everything i do and say. I try and dress modestly to respect my body as a gift from God and out of respect other's so their thoughts are in the right place. I try not to swear and to always try and be doing something that make myself better. And i always try and put my family first.
