Hi I'm Ted

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California and Utah. I have lived in Texas and Missouri.

About Me

My wife and I have been married 27 years and we live in Missouri. I am the father of four and grandfather of one. I love my kids and I am proud of each one. My oldest is married, has graduated from BYU-Idaho and is now a mother. My second is in school and is working. My third is on a mission in California and my fourth is in high school. I am an electrical engineer that investigates fires. I love my job I love putting together the puzzle of what caused the fire. I love taking things apart to see how they work. I love the study of history

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, I was taught Mormon principles in my youth and I never strayed from those principles. I was taught that I needed to find out for myself that those teachings and principles were true. For many years I wondered when I would find out. As I was studying the Book of Mormon many years ago I realized that little by little I had come to know the truth of those principles. Since that day I have served a mission for the church and served in many church assignments. The more I serve the more I am blessed with peace in my life. I know the Lord Jesus Christ better each day and am grateful for his sacrifice to save me from my sins.

How I live my faith

Currently I am on the Stake High Council. I meet with the Stake Presidency often to help guide the stake. I speak in sacrament meeting in one of the stake units once a month and I work with the stake primary presidency. My previous calling as a Seminary teacher was my favorite. I prepared a lesson for about two hours each night and then got up early to present that lesson the high school age youth every school day. I loved the kids and the time I spent with them.
