Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a happy husband and father, I'm a photographer, a poet, and a funny guy.....and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm basically your average guy. I have a good job, a great family, and a love for life. I enjoy traveling and spending time in nature. My hobbies include photography and writing...and sometimes I cook.

Why I am a Mormon

There came a point in my life when I had to choose what kind of person I wanted to be...good or not so good. I chose to be good. I tried harder to be kind to others and lift them up. This brought a new sense of happiness and peace to my life. It also brought me closer to my Father in Heaven and His son, Jesus Christ. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because it's led by Jesus Christ and His teachings bring peace and happiness to my life.

How I live my faith

I teach the teenagers in our congregation. I love being with them and helping them develop a greater understanding and appreciation for who Jesus Christ is and what he has done for us. I enjoy seeing them develop their relationship with Christ.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is a compilation of records written by prophets sometime between 600 B.C. and 400 A.D. Mormon is the name of the prophet who compiled the records. These records were passed down through generations and were eventually buried so they would be preserved. In the 1800s, Joseph Smith was led by God to the place where the records were buried. By the power of God, he translated them into English so the world could read them and learn from them. I know the Book of Mormon is true, because I have read it and asked God if it was true. The Holy Spirit confirmed to my Spirit that it is of God. Show more Show less
