Hi I'm Jasmine

I'm a Mom, a wearer of many hats, and I'm daily in the business world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the mother of 3. They are my heart. My family is the most important thing to me. Outside of my 9 to 5, I'm a kids' sports photographer, a singer, an artist of sorts and a friend. When I have a moment I love to read, yoga, swimming, movies, giggles, volunteering and organic stuffs. I love to laugh, but not at the expense of others. Generally, I'm a glass is half-full kind of girl. Not usually judgmental of others, or one to hold a grudge. I believe in being honest and helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

For a long time I looked for answers to specific questions I had in my life. I never seemed to find any concrete answers in the realms of religion, so I looked to the world to figure things out. This approach left MORE of a hole in my heart, and more dismay. My real beginning in the church came during the latter part of my Junior year in High School. I was nervous to make good on a promise to attend a sacrament meeting to which I had been invited by a classmate. That day, though, was greatly significant for me...and there was a distinct peace that I felt when I experienced the day. I decided to continue to attend based on that feeling alone. Thereafter, many of the answers I had sought after began to come to me. I believe that God has a specific plan for all of us. I don't think we're here on accident. I feel that I can look to Heavenly Father for direction, answers, clarity, patience and help in enduring things that are hard to deal with in life. I believe firmly that He loves ALL of his children...even when we're hard to love sometimes.

How I live my faith

My children and I are active members of the church. We're not perfect, but we strive to live the gospel everyday. When we don't measure up, we start over the next day. We pray, we read, we hold family home evening and we attempt to be the kindest people we can be as Christ did.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I believe the best means to come to know God is to read the scriptures with the intent to become better acquainted with Him. Additionally, after those scriptures are read, pray with the intent to receive an answer about His love, or His nature, or His connection to you specifically. Show more Show less
