Hi I'm Don Ellibee

I am proud to say that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know the Jesus Christ Lives.

About Me

I am retired from the United States Army after 20 plus years of service. I have 4 combat tours two to Iraq and two to Afghanistan. Yes, I do suffer from PTSD due to my second deployment to Iraq and some things from Afghanistan. I have also deployed to Kosovo and Kuwait. I am the father of 10 wonderful children and a lovely wife who just happens to take care of every need that I have right now. which will be explained later. I love going to they gym and working out to stay in stay in shape. I am an avid scuba diver who loves the water and the aquatic life. I am currently recovering from a sever motorcycle / vehicular accident where i nearly lost my life and family. I do teach scuba diving. I have a strong love for my family and close friends. I think of my accident as serious as it was, was a great blessing because it has brought me and dear wife closer together along with our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life. Though there have been many times in my life that I have chosen the wrong path to follow which has caused me great heartache and anguish in my life. Now that I have an even stronger desire to serve and follow the example of our Savior and live as he did I have been much happier and have seen the blessings that it has brought my family. I would not have it any other way.

How I live my faith

At this current time the only calling I have is as a home teacher in the church, but I do enjoy helping others. I love to give blessings to those who are in need. I also love to go home teaching. I love reading the scriptures and studying the teachings of our Savior in them. I have come to learn more and grow closer to our Savior over the last couple of months during the recovery process from my accident. I try to be a humble servant and to teach my family about humility.
