Hi I'm Jeffery Ryan James

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

About Me

I've been a member of the Church since I was 9, I served a mission in Sweden, and am now married to my eternal love. We have 3 wonderful boys and a daughter. I am grateful for eternal perspectives on marriage and family, and the role our Savior and his atonement plays for us in our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my Heavenly Father helped me to know that he has a plan for all of his children here on earth. Because I have this knowing I have found out that he has a church here on earth with authority to do the work that he would have us do. There is a great reward given to us, through the work that we do, because it is focused not on ourselves but of loving and helping each other. This church, organization, and faith save me.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in various ways in the church, one of the most memorable was teaching the 3-4 year olds and preparing them for Primary (Children's Sunday school). They were the most interesting and fun people to teach, because you had to truly have love for them and be flexible, you never really know what the lesson may look like. It also gave me a sense of how patient our Father would be with us, given that sometimes even as adults we may only have the wisdom of 4 year old in the eternal perspective.
