Hi I'm Leisy

I'm a runner, a mother, a wife and I'm happy! I'm a mormon!

About Me

I'm 31 and in the best place in life! My husband is a pediatrician in the Air Force and I work part time teaching fitness classes at the local YMCA and raise two rambunctious little boys and one baby girl. I love to read, run, eat, and have fun with friends. More than anything I love my husband! I served a mission In Moscow, Russia and the people there still hold a large place in my heart

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon because I love being happy. I know that living the principles Jesus Christ taught leads to a life of happiness. There are sorrows, struggles, and frustrations along the way but I am truly happy. I have an eternal perspective, an understanding of my divine nature and potential, and tools to help me continue living my life the way my Heavenly Father would want me to. I have a forever family who helps me along the way and an ever growing testimony of this faith. I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith happily! Each school day before school begins for most people- I get up and let a bunch of rowdy teenagers into my house for early morning 'seminary'- a gospel study program! During the day I teach my children how to live as happy responsible and faithful members of our church and community. I also strive to grow myself spiritually, physically, and mentally! I love to read the scriptures, good books, and to work out. I also work at the local YMCA where I can share my Christian beliefs and lifestyles with those that I teach- even if it is in a bootcamp setting

What is faith?

Leisy
Faith is an utmost trust and hope placed in a perfect and loving Savior, Jesus Christ, even though you've never seen him! and even more- it's living in accordance with that trust. Obedience, charity, service, brotherly kindness, diligence, and so on. Show more Show less
