Hi I'm Danelle
I'm a 5'3" spunky mother of 6, married to a 6'10" giant. I embrace the crazy journey of motherhood. I'm a Mormon!
I'm a stay at home mom to 6 kids, 2 girls and 4 boys. I once wanted to be a lawyer with good hair. Now I juggle soccer practice, dishes, and laundry, and wouldn't change a thing! I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and have a passion for teaching. I love blogging, creating, and am learning to love cooking.
At 16, I decided to be baptized because, after much study and prayer, I knew in my heart that the teachings of the gospel were true. I knew through the feelings I had when I prayed, that God was answering me, and that this was His church. The choice to join the church was a very difficult one, but I made the decision because I recognized that obedience to the Lord's commandments would bring the peace and joy I'd been longing for. I continue today to follow the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ because I find safety, comfort, and countless blessings through living my life in accordance with the Lord's will for me. I believe He knows me even better than I know myself and that by seeking to serve and follow my Savior, He stands waiting to help, comfort and bless me.
Currently I work with the teenage young women in my congregation. I help to plan weekly activities and Sunday lessons aimed to help them grow and develop as daughters of God. Previously I taught singing and music to children ages three to eleven. In the past several years I've volunteered in my community as a parade planner, volunteered at my children's school, and been active with sports and community groups in the town I live in. I've also taught a preschool co-op that each of my children have participated in, for the last 8 years.
