Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a fan of living life to it's fullest. I'm engaged to a wonderful guy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For the last few months, I have been saving up to go to school, taking online classes every now and then. Currently, I am engaged to a smart, outgoing, and very cute guy. He is my sweetheart! We are getting married in the Provo, UT temple for time and all eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the LDS church because I've been blessed to have had a testimony since I was young. Throughout life's hard times, such as feeling alone, or life's little heart breaks, I have always known that I had a place that I could and can turn to. My Heavenly Father, and his son, Jesus Christ are my best friends. They listen to my prayers, and bless me with feelings of joy, and of comfort. I never feel alone when I pray to them. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches me that they are there, and they even care about life's little everyday struggles I am a Mormon because through Christ's teachings, I know that I am never alone. We are blessed to know that we can communicate to Heavenly Father, and, through the power of the Holy Ghost, we can receive answers to our prayers

How I live my faith

Luckily I am engaged to a very valiant young man. He is very service minded, and we try to keep our eyes open constantly for people who we can help. Our favorite thing to do is to give service anonymously. I am most happy when I am serving my fellow man, because I know that it makes my Heavenly Father happy. It is a joyous feeling when you can be the hands that he used to answer another's prayer.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Ashley
A lot of people, when hard times arise, ask in earnestness, "Why me? If God really loves me, why did this happen to me?" I am here to tell you that He does love you. He knows you personally, he aches when you ache. For this very reason, he sent his son to take upon his shoulders, not only the sins of the world, but also the pains. Christ is here as a comfort, he knows exactly what you are going through. God is also a just God, and cannot allow any un-clean person to enter into his presence. Through his mercy, however, he sent his son to take upon him all the sins of the world. We can, through the atonement of Jesus Christ, become perfect and clean, so that we can one day enter again into his presence. Show more Show less
