Hi I'm Erin Grover

I'm a Mississippi Girl, an Educator, Scuba Diver, Partially Deaf and a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the great place of Southern Mississippi. Throughout my entire life, I have been surrounded by different Faiths and cultures, which I completely loved. I come from a very loving family of 7, with countless cousins and other relatives that have always lived close by. The family was always the center of my life. I love the outdoors and the ocean. I enjoy swimming, scuba diving, and anything outdoors! I enjoy living and try to take advantage of each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the opportunity to grow up as a member of this church. My family history goes back to my great great grandfather being a friend of the Prophet Joseph Smith. Though I have grown up in this kind of environment, I do have my own personal testimony of this gospel. My parents never forced me to be a member. I prayed and chose to stay here. I know that it is true. This Gospel gives so much hope to the world, I know it can not be a lie. Families can be together forever. There is more to life than we know. There is life after death. Christ died so that we can become like him and return to our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who loves me, and wants me to return to him, to be like him. I am so thankful for this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by who I am. I can't help but smile everyday. I'm a daughter of my loving Heavenly Father, and remembering that gives me a purpose of why I am here, and the potential I have. How can you not smile when you know that you have a plan and purpose here, and that you are loved dearly? I try to live my faith by my daily activities. In my day to day life, I try to live a life like my Heavenly Father wants. I'm not perfect, but I hope one day I will be, and that I can return to Him and say that I've done the best that I could.
