Hi I'm Jill

from Las Vegas. I am an elementary school teacher, love to play golf, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, a place that is dear to my heart and which I call home. In high school, I played on my girl's golf team and sang in the concert choir. After high school, I attended college, where I majored in Elementary Education. I chose this major because I enjoy influencing those around me for good, and believe that teachers have the opportunity to do this everyday. I love spending time with family and friends, and would choose to do this over anything else, because I think the social aspect of life makes everything more fun. I think that sparkles, sequence, and flip flops are the best things ever invented. Everything Disney catches my attention, and I really do believe Walt's philosophy that "Dreams DO Come True."

Why I am a Mormon

My mother and father converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as young adults and have constantly say it is "the best choice they ever made." Being born in this church, I have always been taught the principles of the gospel, and as I have grown up, have come to realize without a doubt, from specific experiences in my life, that those principles are one hundred percent correct. I am a Mormon because I KNOW the gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always attending church meetings on Sunday, assisting in the needs of my local church ward, and by attending several church activities throughout the week. Outside of church, I live my faith by trying to set an ideal example of the standards and values I have for myself.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Many people hear many rumors about the Mormon church. I encourage you to seek the truth for yourself from those who are or those who know mormons. Show more Show less
