Hi I'm Ashley. I'm a student and a dreamer.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student majoring in Communications Disorders (Speech Pathology), which most people know as "correcting stuttering" and other language disorders. Someday, I'd love to set up my own clinic, but for right now, my newly acquired hubby and I are in transit-- we're just enjoying our studies and looking to graduation for real life to set in. Growing up a Colorado girl, I love the outdoors as well as music, mostly through the medium of violin and my own set of pipes, but also more recently on the guitar. I've developed a love of cooking, dance, and beating my husband at most competitive things. I love my family and my close friends, and really get joy from my relationships with others.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Christ brings peace and joy into my life, and helps me to focus on the things that matter most and let go of the little imperfections, struggles, and stresses we all face each day. As I learn more and more, I'm inspired to be just a little bit better than I was yesterday. I'm a Mormon because it brings me so much happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in my church calling and trying daily to become a better disciple of Jesus Christ. I try to express gratitude for all my blessings and gain perspective on my life, peace, and a lasting happiness from studying my scriptures and visiting the temple. It may sound cliche, but without the gospel in my life, I would not have come to the knowledge of the love my Savior has for me and the plan he has in store for my life.
