Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Nick

I'm a husband, new father, graduate student, avid reader, average golfer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho but relocated to Arkansas in 2009. My wife and I were married in 2007 and were blessed with our first baby in November 2009. I finished a graduate program in Arkansas and started law school last fall in Utah. I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, fishing, cooking, reading, and anything sports related.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and restored the Lord's Church to the earth. I am most happy when I keep the Lord's commandments and appreciate the guidance and direction He provides me through a living Prophet and Apostles today.

How I live my faith

I spend time each morning on my knees in prayer and study the scriptures and words of current Prophets and Apostles. My wife and I do the same together, and this blesses our family as we strive to follow the Savior. President Gordon B. Hinckley once said that when "a man is motivated by great and powerful convictions of truth then he disciplines himself", and so I try to live a life of discipline but have a lot of fun while doing it!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Nick
Our decision to serve missions is motivated by our belief in the Gospel and our desire to fulfill the Savior's command to "preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. The Gospel teaches us that we are all sons and daughters of God, and so we feel a kinship with all of God's children and a desire to help them enjoy the peace in this life that the Gospel provides. Our missionaries are not salesman and won't take much of your time, but I know that your decision to invite them into your home will change your life for good!
