Hi I'm Austin

I am a Missionary in Rwanda and I love testifying of the Family, they are so important to all of us! I am Gladly a Mormon!

About Me

I have grown up in Idaho, never moved outside of the state yet, I hope to do so soon. I am just your average normal kid that has struggles everyday just like everyone else. I am currently going to school at the College of Southern Idaho majoring in Business Administration. I enjoy being in the outdoors and doing anything away from watching other people live their lives (TV). I am currently looking at transferring to Utah State University to finish up my Bachelors degree and hopefully someday be able to start a family of my own that I can love and be able to teach and help grow both physically and spiritually.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt a true happiness here in this church, the world offers happiness but it is only momentary. I know that when I am following the commandments of God and the teachings of the prophet that there is a true, deeper, more pure happiness that can unfold; it lifts ordinary people to do amazing things. I am a Mormon for the eternal perspective, I know that Heavenly father and Jesus are there and that they both care for and love me. I know that this church is the true church that will bring me an eternal happiness. There is a reason for life, and I know that I have found it here in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is by holding on to it, I may not know everything that there is to know about this religion but I hold onto what I do know and then try to gather things that I need to help me with my further progression in this life and the life to come. In the midst of all my other school work and everyday life I try to sit down and read out of my scriptures (The Bible and the Book of Mormon) so that I can know what God would have me do and how to live my life. I feel that faith is an action word. I live my faith by acting on the knowledge that I have, like how Jesus served everyone he came in contact with. I try to follow his example and serve as well. This will build my faith while helping others grow in theirs as well. I try my best to follow the Savior's example and truly live it.
