Hi I'm Kristen

I speak two languages, I am a chemistry tutor and I am raising six kids. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am in a partnership with my husband to raise six beautiful kids. My two oldest boys are autistic, so our lives are busy and eventful. I am choosing to return to college to get a second degree, this time in Nursing, so that I can work with my boys in the Special Education program and better help my oldest son whom also has type 1 diabetes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ not only answers my questions, but guides me to make educated choices. It teaches me to become closer to my Savior through prayer and obedience. The gospel allows my family to be together eternally and helps me work towards being the person that I want to become.

How I live my faith

For the last four years, I have been teaching a sunday school class that introduces the gospel to people interested in finding out what we believe. I have now been asked to teach the sunday school class to the 14-15 age group. My husband and I also make a concentrated effort to teach our kids by attending church, having family home evenings, morning and evening prayers and scripture reading together.
