Hi I'm Sarah

I'm from Wisconsin. I came out to Utah to snowboard and go to college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student pursuing a Masters in Therapeutic Recreation. I have worked in schools, helping children with special needs in their homes and other settings. I love teaching youth the gospel of Jesus Christ because I love Him so much! He has made this beautiful earth on which I love living-climbing, hiking, biking, camping, boarding, sailing, and fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I came to college in Utah and had awesome friends who believed God wouldn't ever fail them. Even when life may seem like it is failing, it really isn't. We as mortal children of a loving Father in Heaven have been sent here to see what we would do with these amazing bodies and our freedom to make our own choices. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives us hope, builds our faith in Him, and help us to make the right choices that we may live with Him and our families again after this life. This are just a few reasons why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. It is part of who I am, who I want to become, and ultimately who I will be forever. I've served in various capacities within the church, a couple of missions (service and full-time), worked in the Salt Lake temple, on institute council for a few years-allowing me to have worked with hundreds of youth, made lifelong friends, been given incredible opportunities for serving God's children, and learned lessons I hope to apply forever. I currently am serving in a Young Single Adult Relief Society Presidency; loving my ward, the leadership that so willingly guides us, the sisters I have the pleasure of associating and equally love my job-work teaching seminary for the youth of the church.
