Hi I'm Dave

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was home-schooled as a child. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending school in Utah. I love being outside, and I enjoy walking which gives me more time to appreciate the beautiful world around me. My favorite things to do are spend time with my family, go to the lake, and watch movies. I also love doing little things for others to make their day a little better.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life, but it wasn't until I was a teenager when I came to really know my Savior and how much His Church means to me. I have read the Book of Mormon over and over and over again. I read it every day, and every time I do the Spirit helps me learn more about my Savior Jesus Christ and my purpose in life. I love the book of Mormon because of what it has taught me. I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I know that I have only found true happiness by following his teachings. That's why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary in my ward which gives me the wonderful opportunity to go out with people my age to find our peers who are struggling or feel lost in a busy world, and help them find faith in Jesus Christ. I go to church every week to learn how I can be a better Christian than I was the week before. I have learned recently that doing simple things like prayer, and scripture study are huge.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Dave
We baptize our members because it shows our faith in Christ, and because it is a necessary ordinance to be performed by authority of his holy priesthood on our journey back home. Show more Show less
