Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon who lives on the East Coast.

About Me

I am a father of 4 and have been married for almost 14 years. I love sports and enjoy playing sports with my family. We enjoy family outings like camping, amusement parks and church activities. I love being a dad and being married to my wife for eternity. Nothing makes me happier then seeing them happy.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I decided to pray and ask my Heavanly Father if it was true and the answer was undoubtedly YES. I served a full-time mission from 1993-1995 and saw how the gospel of Jesus Christ can change lives. My testimony of this church is strengthened every day by trying to do more of what my Heavenly Father wants me to do.

How I live my faith

Right now I work with the 12-13 year old boys in our church. I also coach their basketball team. It is a lot of fun.I also work with an elderly woman at our church. My wife and I take her to church and doctors appointments.

How does the Church finance its operations?

Scott
The main way the church finances its operations is through tithing. Church members pay ten percent of their income to the church to be used for many operations. I know that god blesses me for paying tithing. My family and I live on one income and we are never late on any payments and I have been blessed with a great job to go to work for.  Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Scott
Yes. We believe the bible to be the word of God as is the Book Of Mormon. The stories of the Savior in the New Testament are some of my favorites. We can so much from the writings of the early prophets an apostles. Show more Show less
