Hi I'm Wayne

I am a father of 4 girls and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work as an Architect doing commerical and goverment buildings. I have been married for 12 years and I have 4 daughters ages 10-2 years old. I enjoy the outdoors and every year I go Elk hunting with my Father, brother, and brothers in-law. It is a great time to visit and enjoy the outdoors. I currently attend a Spanish Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I live.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I am a Mormon. For me the most important aspect of this religion is the focus on Family. I was raised a member of this church My grandparents on both sides were converts and since I can remember family has been very important. The Church teaches that families can be together for eternity and I really believe that. Recently my grandfather had a stroke and we went to visit him. He spoke about how important all of us were to him and how he had a good life because he had a good family. I know that eternal families are truely a blessing that our Heavenly Father gives us for coming to this earth.

How I live my faith

I am currently the Branch President of a Spanish congregation where I live. I have been there for a little over a year. I really enjoy serving the members who are spanish speaking. Much of my time is spent visiting members who need help and strength and I know that the Lord helps me to help them. I have been touched by the love and sincerity that the members have for our savior. I have also felt impressed by the way members serve one another. I wrote above about family but in our congregation family has taken another meaning to mean anyone who is around us and who needs our help or love. I think that service is the number one way to grow closer to our savior. We have to do as he did and serve others, then we will feel the spirit of Christ touch our lives in a more profound way.
