Hi I'm Rachel

I love music, my family and watching old movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

* I love to sing! * Spring makes me happy * I love serving others * I am the oldest of 4 * I love musicals

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but I don't consider that the reason I am a Mormon. I have searched the scriptures and prayed for answers and can say with all the strength I can muster that I know that this is the Lord's church. I know that Joseph Smith really did see God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. And that through their direction he translated the Book of Mormon and restored the true Church on the earth. My testimony didn't come because of miracles, although there have been some in my life, and it didn't come because I am just following blindly to what my parents tell me. I have gained a testimony because I have found out for myself. You can know it too.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for our chruch. I am serving in Montana and loving every moment of it! As missionaries our calling is to bring others closer to Christ and build their faith in him and as they do that they want to repent and be baptized a member of Christ's church here on earth (The Chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints). This is my life and I am so thankful for this opportunity to help others come closer to their Savior and to their loving Heavenly Father.

Are Mormons Christians?

Rachel
YES. To quote a verse from the Book of Mormon, “And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins” 2 Nephi 2523, 26. This is our message to the world. That not only did Jesus Christ suffer and die for us but that he lived here on earth and lives again, for us. He loves us more than we can understand. Our joy is his joy, our pain is his pain, he performed the greatest sacrifice that man kind will ever know. When He suffered in Gethsemane and then died on the cross, He did it for me and He did it for you. He did it for everyone who has ever lived and ever will live. No matter what you have done and no matter where you have been He loves you and is waiting for you to come unto him and be healed and find indescribable joy! We are Christians Show more Show less
