Hi I'm Debbie Newlin

I'm AM a Mormon! From CA But now living in Wake Forest,North Carolina. I will go where The Lord needs me.

About Me

I have 2 children (teens) and they keep me busy. I am presently working as a Dietitian (RD) for a local pharmacy. Would love to work on my hobbies like playing the piano, sewing, baking, scrap booking, gardening, and being outside but difficult to find the time. Everything has a season! I was not always active but around 17 had a Young Women's president and advisor who took a special interest in me. At this time, I sought to gain a testimony for myself. I was fortunate to live in the Dorms with my room next to the only other "Mormon". I became very active in the University Ward and my testimony flurished. I feel fortunate to know that I have a loving Heavenly Father and elder brother who love me so much. I am sometimes in awe of what they have done for me. My prayer is that I can live my life in a way that will reflect their love for all. Our family motto is "Remember who you are and who you represent." We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Family with no one more important and less loved than another. I hope that I can develop this kind of charity.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father and that I have a purpose. I know that Christ made it possible for me to live with my Heavenly Father again - debt which I will never be able to repay. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon so that we could benefit from its teachings in our times. I am grateful for numerous blessings. Most importantly, I am grateful to know who I am. In times like these, there is much peace and comfort in this. My favorite quote is "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it". These things I say in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have a strong faith in my Heavenly Father, elder brother Jesus Christ. Our family had a strong impression that we were needed to serve in the kingdom in another location. We sold our home and moved 2732 miles away to North Carolina. I was called to be YW President my first week in the ward. Heavenly Fathers ways may not always be our ways but with faith anything is possible. I am a work in progress trying to live the way my Heavenly Father would like me to live. Our family motto that we try to live by is Remember who you are and who you represent!
