Hi I'm Corban

I love to play and coach soccer. I am quite content just doing my thing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student in college. Some things that I enjoy doing are follow sports, coach soccer, and hang with my family. I served a mission in Argentina Rosario from 2006-2008, and have been a member of the church my whole life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old and have loved growing in my knowledge and testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To be honest I have had many questions about specific doctrines of the church, but I have found answers through personal prayer and study of the scriptures. My testimony is the foundation of how I think and perceive the world. I am very grateful for the knowledge I have gained and hope that I am an example to others. I truly hope that I can live my testimony more fully on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

Living my faith revolves around personally reading the scriptures and praying on a daily basis. When I am doing these things consistently I am more able to serve those around me. I love meeting new people and supporting them in their trials they are experiencing. One of the great opportunities I have had is to be a soccer coach for young people in the community I live. I enjoy the game of soccer, but I love to encourage and help young people work to reach their potential. There are so many incredible and amazing youth in the world today!

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Corban
Family is the basic unit of society. When there is love and teaching in the home, there is success in all other social groups. I believe that as parents take the daily challenge of providing for their children's spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional needs that these young people will become a benefit to society. This requires great focus, a greater focus on family then on personal pursuits or profession, but will be the most gratifying experience in this life. I am not a parent myself right now but I have been blessed by my parents who have focused on me. I love and care about them a great deal and hope I can provide my future children with a similar home. No other success in life can make up for failure in the home. Show more Show less
