Hi I'm Laurin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost in my life a wife. I have a great husband who works hard and keeps at it with me through the ups and downs of life. The second passion of my life is my three small, but ever growing, children. I really enjoy working on photography and catching them doing fun things, achieving new goals, and also thing they shouldn't (like cutting each other hair). I also love to read, run, be slightly creative and crafty, but I mostly love being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is Jesus Christ church. I find such peace in know that this family that I am creating and building can be eternal. Everyday we are progressing and working toward being together forever and that is made possible by Jesus Christ, my Savior, and His gospel. I have come to know that this is his true gospel by making the choice to live it everyday the best I can. I have received a testimony through the Holy Ghost that it is true.

How I live my faith

I have found that living my faith begins right in my own home. I strive, along with my husband, to build our home on love and mutual respect. We try to diligently teach our children about the gospel and do our best to live those same principles. Who you are really starts at home and how you treat your family. We try to show our kids love an respect, not always perfectly, because we believe that they are Heavenly Father's children. We are here with a purpose to teach and help them grow in all aspects of their life.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Our mortal bodies is where our spirit reside. The two are connected when we degrade one we degrade the other. We feel better both spiritually and physically when we take proper care of our body. Our Father in Heaven has given us these bodies to come and experience this mortal life. When we care for our bodies it is a way to show love and gratitude for him and what he has given to us.
