Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Ashley. I am 22 years old and I am a wife and a college student. I am pursuing a degree in Dental Hygiene. I was married in June of 2010, and love the blessings that my temple marriage has brought me. I love biking, reading, eating ice cream, watching good movies, baking, blogging, spending time with my family, making new friends, and going on walks with my husband and our dog Zoey.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church. I grew up in a very small town, where mostly everyone is a Mormon. When I was younger, I learned from the testimonies and examples of those around me - my family and the members of my community. When I left home to go to college, I attended a very liberal university and quickly realized that it was not for me. While there, my testimony grew and I began to understand the important role the Church played in my life. I transferred to a small community college with a high percentage of LDS students for my second year of college and my testimony grew stronger than ever. There, I met my husband and was married in the temple a few months later. I see the blessings that being a Mormon brings to my life daily.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example to those I meet of how we, as Mormons, live our lives on a daily basis. I love going to the temple. My husband and I try to go as often as we can, and we are lucky enough to have a couple temples only a few hours away.
