Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a wife, a baker, a musician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of a Physician Assistant student. Together we enjoy camping in the Big Sky country, experimental baking, and just being together. I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho and am now working to put my husband through school. When I'm not working I enjoy cake decorating, and playing the harp.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me purpose in life. I know why I am here and where to find true happiness. What more could you ask for in life? After graduating college and moving on to 'real' life, there are so many more questions to be asked. Is having a successful career my only road to happiness? And what if I don't know what I want to do with my life, am I doomed for an unhappy life? Through the gospel of Jesus Christ I have learned that as long as I am following His teachings I WILL be happy. I have a humble job, and am truly happy. Reading the scriptures and applying them to my life have given me purpose in this crazy world. I know that God loves me, and wants me to be happy. As long as I follow Him, happiness and peace will be mine.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday of my life. I pray each morning to become what Heavenly Father would have me become. Currently I teach six year olds about Jesus Christ and how to live a happy life. Their simple faith amazes me. I feel blessed to help teach these future leaders.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Ashley
I was recently married in the temple. How grateful I am that our marriage is not 'until death do we part.' We were married forever! I will be with him forever no matter what. This means so much to me because my dad passed away three years ago. It was a very hard time, but knowing that I would see him again and that our family continued even after this life gave me hope to get through those dark days.   Show more Show less
